How to register to use this website:

1. Open up your internet browser and navigate to http://parts.conn-selmer.com.

2. Find the 'Need to register? Please click here' link and click on it.

3. Enter your Conn-Selmer account number, contact name, e-mail address, and contact phone number.*

4. Within 48 hours, you will receive a confirmation notice from Conn-Selmer in your in-box that contains your new username and password.

* - Our system will only allow users with an active account number and e-mail account on file to register!

How to shop for parts on this website:

1. Open up your internet browser and navigate to http://parts.conn-selmer.com.

2. Enter your assigned username and password into the appropriate fields and then click the 'Login' button.

3. On the left side of the screen, you can query for a particular part by specifying the type of instrument, brand, model number and/or specific part number. Click on the 'Search' button for a list of results that match your query.

4. If more than one match is found, the search results will appear on the right side of the screen (see Figure 1). Click on the model number of the instrument you wish to view. If only one match is found, you will immediately be shown the instrument page that matches your query.

5. On the instrument page, you will find an exploded view of the instrument (see Figure 2). You can click on the image itself to bring up a zoomed-in view of a particular part along with pricing and additional information. You can choose to buy the part by specifying a quantity and clicking on the 'Add to Cart' button. If you do not wish to buy the part, simply close the window by clicking on either the 'X' in the upper right-hand corner of the window or by clicking on the line that says 'Click here to Close Window'.

Figure 2Below the exploded view of the instrument is a table which lists all available parts for the instrument. Please note that not all of our parts may be pictured in the exploded view, be sure to check the table for the full list of available parts!

6. When you have specified all the parts that you wish to order or a particular instrument, click on the 'Checkout' button. You can find the Checkout button in three places. It can be found at the top of the page as well as above and below the full list of parts that appears below the exploded view of the instrument.

7. After you have clicked on Checkout, you can review the parts that you currently have in your shopping cart from this screen (see Figure 3). If you wish to purchase additional parts, you can either click on the 'Product Search' button at the top of the screen, or you can click on the 'Click here to Continue Shopping' link found below the 'Submit' button.

From this screen, you can also choose to remove an item from your cart by clicking on the checkbox in the 'Remove' column and then clicking on the 'Remove Selected' button.

Figure 3Lastly, you can also change the quantity of the parts you have selected for purchase on this screen. Do this by first clicking on the 'Change Quantity' button. From this screen, you can change the quantity by typing in a different number in the appropriate field and then clicking on the 'Update Quantity' button. Alternately, you can choose to remove an item from your cart by clicking on the checkbox in the 'Remove' column and then clicking on the 'Remove Selected' button.

Once you are ready to make your purchase, you may continue by selecting a payment option in the drop-down box and then clicking on the 'Submit' button.

8. At this point, a pop-up window will appear to confirm that you wish to proceed with your order. Clicking on 'Yes' will complete the order. From this final screen, you will be able to review your order. Your order has been placed with Conn-Selmer, Inc.! You will receive an e-mail in your in-box containing the details of your order.

9. At this point, be sure to click on the 'Log Out' button to be returned to the opening screen. You may close your internet browser or surf on to another website.

Q. I am continually getting kicked back to the login screen! What gives?
A. Please make sure that your internet browser is set to accept cookies. HTTP cookies, more commonly referred to simply as ‘cookies’, are used by our website for tracking and maintaining specific information.

Q. How do I set my browser to accept cookies?
A. Please be sure to check the support documentation provided with your internet browser.

Q. I try to login and the message "Invalid username or password!" appears!
A. Please make sure that you have an active account with Conn-Selmer, Inc. and that you have registered yourself on the website by clicking on the registration link available on the opening page. To ensure proper usage and behavior of the website, please be sure to set your internet browser to allow cookies.

Q. My account number is active, yet I still can't register for a username or password? Help!
A. Please be sure to provide an e-mail address that we have on file for your account. If the e-mail address entered is not recognized by our system, you will be unable to register. Make sure to update your account information with a Conn-Selmer customer support representative by calling 800-348-7567.

Q. How do I change my account information (i.e. password, e-mail address)?
A. Once you are logged in to parts.conn-selmer.com, click on the 'Edit My Profile' button. From here, you will be able to change the contact name, contact phone number, and e-mail address of the account holder.

Q. I can't find the part I want!
A. We are continually updating and adding instruments and parts to the website all the time. If you are unable to find the part you need, contact our customer support staff directly at 800-348-7567.

Q. I hit the browser's back button and I got an error message!

A. We recommend using Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0+ or Mozilla Firefox for the best results.

Q. I've forgotten my username and/or password!
A. Please contact our customer support staff at 800-348-7567 and one of our telephone representatives will reset your password. Please be aware this process can take up to 48 hours.
